Absolute Aromas have visited many of the farms themselves, in order to ensure that the high levels of quality and purity that have made Absolute Aromas stand out in the marketplace, remain at the forefront of their company ethos.<p>Ylang Ylang means "flower of flowers" and is extracted by steam distillation from the flowers of a tropical tree that grows in the Indian Ocean. When Ylang Ylang is distilled, the first fraction is separated out and called Ylang Ylang Extra. The next fraction is known as Ylang Ylang I, then II and finally III. Ylang Ylang Extra is very highly regarded and finds its way into top quality perfumes. Though the chemical profiles are very similar between the oils, the Extra is richer in many of the top notes.<p> Ylang Ylang is one of the most popular essential oils for diffusing. It has a wonderfully exotic aroma in its own right but blends well with Bergamot, Rose or Sweet Orange.
